If you have a bus mouse, you may need to specify the IRQ of the
interface card before the kernel will recognize it.  To do so,
you would enter:

boot: linux bmouse=IRQ

Where "IRQ" is the number of the interrupt your card is on.  Most cards
use something in the 2 through 5 range.
